Animal acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the best established forms of complementary medicine in the UK. It involves the placement of fine needles in specific points on the skin to treat pain, relieve common ailments and promote general well-being. It has been used in people for over 2,000 years and more recently it has been developed for use in animals and has shown some startling results. Animals respond very well to acupuncture, especially in the treatment of conditions that cause pain. It can be used to complement any traditional therapy your animal is already receiving from your vet.
