What our customers say

I have been so lucky to have the Housevet look after my dogs for some years. Alyson and her team have always given us excellent care and coming to the house has made the experience very easy for the dogs, keeping them calm and stress free.

When I lost my previous dog (he was over 14, to cancer) Alyson and her brilliant team were with us all the way, giving us so much help and support. Now I have been delighted to introduce my new puppy to this great vet practice which I highly recommend.

Alison Goodlife

A proper family vet with a no nonsense approach to caring for our 4 legged loved ones. No unnecessary medication, no extra hidden charges, no milking the owners at the expense of the pet. They truly care about the animals they treat. Alyson really knows her stuff and only employs others who do the same. I would not use a ‘chain vet’ ever again. If you want a vet who replicates the practices of an old fashioned GP for humans – look no further.

Katie Brodie

I can’t express how grateful I am to this wonderful team. I travel over an hour to visit Alyson and the team as I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my two senior dogs. They’ve been here for us for routine dental care and spaying right through to the trauma of saying goodbye to our beloved pets. Always a kind and professional service, I really can’t recommend them enough. Thank you again x

Alex Stryczek

So grateful for having found the best of vets for our rescue senior boys – we feel they actually have no idea Alyson and her team are vets/nurses, they just come and give them attention and cuddles. The holistic nature of the care is second to none. They have filled a gaping hole – with an old fashioned, honest approach to vet care – treating your pet as they would their own – filling a void to maybe the elderly owner, or those who don’t drive – offering to visit your pet at home, as a matter or course, not as an exception – for our senior arthritic rescue dog and his brother – this was a game changer. A no stress scenario, with the best care. We couldn’t recommend this practice more highly. Many thanks Alyson and everyone at The House Vet.

Just the most amazing people. They were incredibly supportive when they treated my dog Polly just before she passed away. Being able to be with her when she passed, rather than her being treated away in another room, was so valuable to me in being able to process it all.

Hannah Roberts

The team from Rowly House vet have look after my numerous animals for years now. They have always been professional but friendly and show me much patience of the 100s of questions I ask. I never feel rushed on a appointment at home or in surgery. A great Team to have by my side. Alyson is a real Gem!!
